Meeting Impact Report

The Meeting Impact Report (MIR) is Starwood’s resource for demonstrating the impact of sustainable decisions made within the meeting planning process. The tool is designed to show meeting planners the impact of the choices they made in making their event more environmentally friendly. The report is focused on evaluating data related to energy consumption, water consumption, waste management, sustainable food choices, and volunteer programs.

Idle Free Zone

The Sheraton Red Deer Hotel strives to improve our environmental sustainability and minimize our effects on the environment. By creating an idle free zone we will reduce health risks caused by air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions while at the same time saving money and prolonging the life of your vehicle.
